Encoding
Are you sick and tired of worrying about all your privet files on your computer. I was that is why I found a File encryption software that is not only free, but it works great and is simple to use. It is called Ax Crypt and you can download it from almost anywhere, but I Recommend either filehippo.com, or Cnet.com these two locations are the safest and the easiest to understand.
Google+!
Hello Everyone as you know Google+ is now public and offers a wide range of methods for us to communicate with each other. For instance there is hangout; a new method of video chatting that allows a group of people to to see all their friends who are in the hangout and say hello. However there are a few drawbacks to this method, it becomes rather chaotic when everyone wants to talk at the same time and very few people get a word in at this point.
There is also another method which is more or less the same option that Facebook offers which is written chat but that layout on Google+ is so much smother and easier to understand than Facebook.
You can also create events with Google+ that can be sent not only on Google+ but through your Gmail and your Google phone.
Google+ has so much more to offer and all you need to do is take a look and you will see that there are places you can see all around the world and you will not even have to get out of your arm chair.

Finaly Free Music..... Thats Legal!
Yep you heard it right now you can download and listen to all the music you want and at no charge and its perfectly legal! all you need is Firefox 4.1.2 and a new add on from YouTube called YouTube MP3 Downloader. all you have to do is download the add on and restart Firefox and you will be able to listen to your favorite artists all the time any time. How it works is simple, the add on allows you to rip the audio of the video and save it as a binary file on your computer and then all you have to do is choose which program you want to use to play it with. I do know that the files work with both the updated windows media player and the updated iTunes so there should be no problems there.
Sony Says Sorry!
After over a month of the Sony network being down, Sony has now put together a package deal for all their faithful customers to enjoy. Sony now offers Sony plus for free for a month, along with two free game downloads which include Dead Nation and Infamous! all you need to do is reactivate your old account through your email and then go to the playstation store and download the games of your choice. Be warned though the downloads take forever so my suggestion is to start the download right before your about to hit the sack and just let it download throughout the night. Enjoy!
Google Wallets!
New Ways of Paying
Gauging from this week’s news stories, change is in the air for payment systems. Google unveiled its mobile payment system named Google Wallet. The software will run on Google Android handsets and allow users to tap their phone on a pad at check out counters to pay for merchandise. Google Wallet can store credit cards, offer discounts, link to loyalty rewards, and eventually even hold tickets and keys. Shortly after Google’s announcement, PayPal filed a lawsuit against Google for stealing its electronic wallet trade secrets. Meanwhile, a joint venture between Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Wells Fargo will soon allow many bank customers to transfer funds to others through email and mobile phones. If the new service, called clearXchange, is well received, it’s likely to put PayPal out of business. The young tech company, Square, made its mark in the commerce industry when it introduced software and a card reader that allows anyone to process credit card purchases on a smart phone. Now Square is taking the next step with iPad software that replaces a cash register. Square’s new point-of-sale iPad software manages inventory, automates checkout, and creates digital receipts. Customers either pay by swiping a credit card or transfer payment information from their smart phone. The smart phone software named Card Case, allows customers to pay by simply saying their name. The wireless connection between the smartphone and iPad take care of the rest.

Online Tracking
Are you sick and tired of having all these online companies tacking you? Seeing what you buy, what you sell, and who you talk to? If so then here are a few ways that you can protect your computer from online tracking companies and regain your online privacy. Believe it or not but if your running an internet browser that has no privacy features enabled, then there is a chance that over three hundred different companies could be tracking you! Now some may be asking what the big deal is about these companies, saying that all it is for is marketing purposes. I hate to break it you but that is not exactly true. Many companies use the data you input into search engines, and shopping sites to track you likes and dislikes on the web and they can also access your personal information while they're at it. If you want to stop this from happening, this is what you need to do.
First you need to download the latest version of Mozilla Firefox (4.0.1), Mozilla is one of the few browsers that offers security plugins. after you download Mozilla, you need to download the plugin known as Blacksheep, this plug in will inform you when someone is trying to hijack your current web session. Also another way to help keep companies and hackers from getting to your personal information is using whats called privet browsing mode in Mozilla. (CTRL, Shift, P). While in this mode, you can go onto any site and no history will be recorded.
The Second action you need to take, is go to www.selectout.org, this site was created to show you a significant portion of all the companies that are tracking you and block them out in the process. although it does not protect from all tracking companies, it will protect you from most of them. What you do is you type in the address above and you will see a posting that says ______ this is how many companies are tracking you. what you need to do is click the link next to the posting that says opt out this will block out a majority of the companies that are following you.
The next thing you need to do is go to www.abine.com, this site also blocks out tracking companies, however it also gives you more privacy options like the ability to create an online alias with a fake name, date of birth, email, and address to fill into a site information page to keep your personal information safe.
Hackers are getting better and better at breaking into computers systems so we need to be prepared.Follow these steps and you will be on the right track to ensuring a safer internet experience.
